Dwight Howard racked up 29 points and 17 rebounds for Orlando, which used a 12-0 run in the fourth quarter to control a five-point lead with three minutes left. Grant Hill scored 17 points and Darko Milicic chipped in with 14.
The Pistons, who became the first team to advance to the second round, await the winner of the Bulls-Heat series.
